Healing Journey Project

The Healing Journey project will present conferences beginning in March 2023 to 75 girls ages 12 to 18, led by Niesha Davis, MSW, LCSW, CAMS-11, CCTP, and owner of two mental health practices in Kern County.  Each child will receive a copy of her book, "Your Story Does Not Define You, A Healing Journey from Trauma Through Expression and Self-Affirmation" along with a personal journal.  During the conference, the participants will be guided through the book and taught how to apply the tools in it.  They will also be provided with resources, including mentors to support their journey to wellness. Our target group for this project is 75 girls 12-18, and anticipate this number increasing, based on interest and need.
